Default p/w, p/r, r/p, r/p. my shouting team, ne ideas.

Ok basically i just started hvh about a month ago, and like all of my endevors i did good research before hand. I started my experience with a yaa sin spike,r/p packhunter, n/rt ce restor, and a sor monk. i did very well and soon got good at running it, but i have always hated sins.

today. now i have created a 4 man paragon team (well only 2 para heroes so 2 rangers..) My hope is that the shouts will give enuf healing, armor, condition removal, and snares to keep the team running. While at the same time spreads so much conditions teams monks or healers cant outlast.

ok on to my first builds.

ok p/r hero

barbed spear
sig or synergy
song of restoration
ballad of restoration
chorus of restoration
fenale of restoration
anthem of flame
charm animal

this hero is one of the 2 main heroes. with all the healing, and paras high armor it doesnt seem to die often.

r/p

barbed spear
disrupting throw
signet of synergy
song of purification
ballad of restoration
chorus of restoration
lightning reflexes
charm animal

good secondary heals and great condition removal. with heals, def stance, and high armor doesn't die much.

r/p

spear of lightning
apply poison
crippleing anthem
find their weakness
go for the eyes
sever surrender
lightning reflexes
charm animal

offensive support as well as helping to spread poison, deep wounds, and cripple. Hard to kill with def stance, armor buffs, and other healers around.

p/w me

lightning spear
blazing spear
mercyless spear
stunning strike
anthem of flame
soldiers stance
watch yourself
sheilds up

does wat it must spreading conditions, and applying the teams armor buffs. daze gets hidden on enemy monks leading to kills.

basically after maybe 15 games testing this i have concluded this, the team build is great 4v4 or even 4v5 or 3v4. It starts slow but eventually leads to a wipe on the opponent. Most sins at my lvl dont have a clue what to do when they see no monks or easy characters to spike. Can destroy majority of holding builds at my lvl as most monks only run 1 condition removal skill.

point of the post is this i wouldn't mind some advice on how to make this better, as it does need a better splitting character. Im not sold on stunning strike, or crippling anthem as much as other 2 builds so maybe one of them could be changed to add a heal as one shouter, or even a ebon dust shouter.

any advice at all? or have i already made it as much as i can.

These kind of builds used to be really good back when nightfall was first released and you just needed to hold the center, but now with the shrine running and all the paragon nerfs it won't work anymore. I would rework the build using 2 Heal As One R/P and 1 Melandru's Resilience + Signet of Synergy P/R so that every hero can survive 1v1. The P/R hero and your own character could bring the party buff skills (GftE, Anthem of Flame,...), while the R/P builds should concentrate on 1v1 fights (apply poison, barbed spear, remedy signet, ...). You should make sure you and the P/R can survive in a 2v2 against a Mo/E + A/W (interrupts, shield bash, ...). The new EotN skills would help to replace the elite skills you're using now (Spear Swipe instead of Stunning Strike, Maiming Spear instead of Crippling Anthem) but I assume you don't have the expansion?

JW, what kind of attributes are you running on these guys?

And yea, pretty much agreed with Draikin. Of course, in lower-level HvH you can pretty much just sit on a shrine and your opponent will suicide himself against you over and over, making it a race of kills vs time.

Of course, looking at it you should be able to split 2v2 with both paragons in a team and both rangers in a team.

ill repost the attributes in a few. As far as splits go i wouldnt mind advice on making 1 of them splittable. The entire point is to use shouts however so makeing them all packhunters ruins it. plus i feel that 4 pack hunters wouldnt b able to kill or overrun a good defensive build.

no i dont own gwen btw.

as far as splitting currently i normally split the crip anthem off at start and have other 3 stick with me. i think making 4 chars all splitters seems like a total waste.... when would i have 4 ppl running around alone...

This is a very good 4v4 build, but it unfortunately doesn't seem like it has the splitting capabilities to 1v1 or 2v2 at all (only the two chorus p/r and r/p). Any good player who does not want to engage in 4v4 combat, will not engage in 4v4 combat, period. You may have luck with two 2v2 splits though.

i will have to test out the 2v2 split and possibly even retweak a bit after working this build a bit more. Im thinking of turning the crip ranger into a packhunter that uses some tactics for the armor buffs, and swaping my char into a more hardcore spiker.

this is a p/w with snares and good pressure and its good in team and solo.
it can beat an assasin 1on1 (if u bring a block stance or interupt him by YAA -> disrupting throw, but cant kill a monk solo. (maybe it can kill one with Spear Swipe)

paragon/warrior
1. You're All Alone
2. Spear of Lightning
3. Barbed Spear
4. Disrupting Throw
5.
6.
7. Healing Signet
8. Remedy Signet

slot 5 and 6 u can fill in what u like...
some team support or you can make him stronger in 1on1.

teamsupport suggestions:
anthem of flame
watch yourself
shields up

1on1 suggestions:
Burning Shield
Shield Bash
Shield Stance
Soldier's Defense
Grapple

other suggestions: (extra damage or speed)
Spear Swipe
Blazing Spear
Maiming Spear
Sprint

u should put in what u want your paragon to be.
this paragon sux if it is played by heroes so u should play it yourself.

just play with the attributes.
untill it fits for you.
(i prefer 10-12 tactics)

this way u can give the crip anthem a other elite making it better in split.

this way u can have 2 splitable characters (you and the crip anthem with a re-looked bar)
while the other 2 can survive with eachother.
